The works were carried out by the well-known builders of the Skura family, specifically Sulejman Aga Skura. The plaque on the wall is difficult to read, but the construction year 1748–49, the donor, and the master have been identified. Archival records show that the fountain was maintained and repaired several times using the income of the large vakf.
